Will You Do What It Takes To Live Your Dream Life?

If I told you there was a way to live your dream life, would you do it?

What if I told you that you had to let go of the behaviors that keep negative emotion alive? You have to wake up every single day with a goal of feeling as good as you can. That you must let your intention for each day be to feel good. That means, you focus on anything and everything that feels good to you. You turn away from anything and everything that feels bad until it’s small enough that you can allow a solution. You keep doing this day in and day out. Even if you only make it for a few hours, you make a pact with yourself that you’ll start again tomorrow and continue to do so. And you do it lovingly. You decide you are going to be nice to yourself and applaud every moment that you are able to keep up the positive emotion and thought.

What behaviors do you let go of to live your Dream Life?

 

  • Talking about past events that don’t feel good.
  • Talking about current events that don’t feel good.
  • Justifying, rationalizing or explaining yourself to anyone.
  • Judging yourself and/or others.
  • Telling stories about how people did you wrong or how you did them wrong.
  • Telling yourself or someone else you or they can’t have something.
  • Holding grudges against yourself and/or others.
  • Taking on other people’s negative opinions about you or something/someone.
  • Allowing other people to tell you how you feel, what your intentions are and who you are.
  • Allowing fear to make your decisions or in-decisions.
  • Comparing yourself or your life path to others.
  • Validation/approval seeking.
  • Complaining.
  • Doing things out of obligation.
  • Criticizing yourself and others.

What behaviors do you embrace to live your Dream Life?

 

  • Appreciate yourself, what you love about others and things around you.
  • Talk only about events that feel and felt good.
  • Focus on the best in people, including yourself.
  • Take responsibility for everything in your own life (and mind), starting now.
  • Understand that the purpose of your life is joy.
  • Think thoughts about yourself and others that feel good, and turn away from those that don’t. Stop fighting against unwanted things.
  • Your emotions guide you in choosing thoughts that create your dream life. Pay attention to your emotions and seek out thoughts that provide you emotional relief.
  • You have an inner being/energy/God-force/Universe/whatever you want to call it that loves you and knows everything you want. Let it guide you.
  • Your natural state is well-being. If you relax and stop preventing well-being, it’s naturally there. You don’t have to earn it or anxiously try to keep it flowing, you just allow it by not doing the things you do that prevent it (see above list).
  • You get to decide what thoughts you think over and over in order to create your own set of beliefs. YOU get to choose them, exercise this.
  • Be as happy as you can be in any moment as happiness is the path to everything you want. It’s the happiness that BRINGS the money, the relationship, the new home, the job, the car, the vacations, etc. NOT the other way around. Be happy now and stop trying to control the conditions from a negative place.
  • Love yourself.
  • Give yourself time to allow your beliefs to change.
  • Make peace with where you are.
  • Know what YOU value and want for yourself and allow that to direct you.
  • Relax and allow the universe to bring you what you want.

So will you do what it takes to make your dreams a reality? Will you pay the price of feeling good? Will you let yourself be happy and focus only on what feels good to you? Will you allow negative emotion to do its only job of helping you redirect your thoughts, and not stay there?
