Frequently Asked Questions
About private advisory, confidentiality, and what working together actually looks like
Is this therapy or executive coaching?
This work is neither therapy nor traditional executive coaching.
It’s a high-level, relational container focused on internal alignment, decision clarity, and embodied leadership. We don’t diagnose, treat, or pathologize — and we don’t rely on scripts, frameworks, or performance tactics.
The work happens at the level where clarity returns and pressure drops.
Who is this work for?
This work is for executives and founders who are highly capable — and aware that carrying everything alone has a cost.
My clients are typically successful on paper, respected in their roles, and ready for a more honest, grounded way of leading and relating.
They value discretion, depth, and real movement over optimization or motivation.
Who is this not for?
This is not a fit if you’re looking for:
- motivation or accountability coaching
- tactical leadership training
- performance “hacks”
- a quick fix or externally driven change
This work requires self-responsibility, curiosity, and a willingness to be internally honest.
How is this different from other executive coaching?
Most coaching focuses on strategies, behaviors, or outcomes.
This work focuses on what’s underneath — the internal tension, emotional restraint, and self-abandonment that quietly shape decisions, communication, and leadership presence.
When that clears, performance improves naturally — without force.
Is this work structured or open-ended?
This is an ongoing advisory relationship with clear containment — not a rigid program and not an open-ended conversation.
The structure is held by the relationship itself: regular contact, continuity over time, and a shared understanding of what we’re here to work with. There are no scripts, frameworks, or predetermined outcomes, but the work is intentional, focused, and grounded.
Clients don’t have to manage the process. That’s part of the relief.
Why private advisory instead of episodic support?
This work is designed for leaders whose pressure doesn’t come from a single moment — but from sustained responsibility over time.
Short-term or episodic support can help with specific issues.
Private advisory provides continuity as complexity, visibility, and consequence evolve.
The value is not just insight in a moment, but having a stable, confidential place where clarity can return again and again as conditions change.
What does working together feel like?
Clients often describe the experience as grounding, clarifying, and surprisingly relieving.
There is space to think clearly, speak honestly, and reduce unnecessary self-management. The work is calm, direct, and emotionally precise, allowing insight to land clearly.
Many say it’s the first place they don’t feel analyzed, optimized, or managed.
Do you work with people who are already very successful?
Yes. My clients are already high-performing and respected in their fields.
This work isn’t about getting you “there.”
It’s about removing what’s making leadership feel heavier than it needs to be.
How do you handle confidentiality?
Discretion is non-negotiable.
All work is confidential, and I’m deeply respectful of the personal and professional realities my clients navigate. This is a private container designed for leaders who require discretion and containment.
What’s required from me as a client?
Presence, honesty, and willingness to engage with what’s real.
You don’t need to prepare, perform, or impress. You do need to show up open to noticing patterns, telling the truth, and allowing things to shift.
How do I know if I’m ready for this work?
You’re likely ready if:
- success hasn’t eliminated internal pressure
- clarity feels harder than it used to
- you’re tired of carrying everything alone
- you sense there’s a simpler, truer way to lead
Readiness isn’t about being broken.
It’s about being willing.
How do we begin?
If this resonates, the next step is a private conversation to assess fit — for both of us.
This work is selective by design.
