Do You Allow Yourself To Relax And Allow What You Want?
Do you feel lighthearted or serious? Do you believe in things working out for you or not? Do you feel tense or light? Do you turn everything into a goal that you MUST hit? Do you think the world is broken or just right?
Do you feel like its irresponsible to focus on having fun? Do you constantly focus on issues? Do you think you have to feel bad for other people when things aren’t going as well as they’d like?
You have just been taking life too seriously. You haven’t accepted that you create your own reality and the only way to change that reality is to change how you feel. If you think life is heavy and serious, it is. If you believe life is fun and easy, it is.
You’re allowed to just relax; to take it all in and enjoy your life.
Often when you put the focus onto yourself you realize YOUR actual life is either really good, or completely figure out-able. Its when you focus on what is happening to other people that things can seem really heavy. Or when you focus on things in your past or other things you cannot control.
The one thing you have complete control over is the way you feel. When you embrace this and begin practicing it, you will see just how magical life becomes. The heaviness can dissipate and you can replace it with joy and happiness. The more you do this, the better and better life gets.
You are not here to fix a broken world, or to fulfill some karmic debt, or to suffer, or only to serve other people, etc. You are here to live a joyous, expansive, exhilarating life full of your own creations. Each and every person is only responsible for their own thoughts and emotions, and therefore their own lives.
The only way to truly help others is to feel joy yourself because you can’t teach what you don’t yet understand. So allow yourself to relax. Allow yourself to focus on your own thoughts and emotions for a while. Allow yourself to take a break from other people’s problems. Allow yourself to connect to your own inner self. You are only thoughts away from feeling free and easy and joyful and light. It’s right there, and you can stay there so long as you keep thinking thoughts that are in line with your true self.
Meditate more (Read this article on meditation). Sit in nature more. Dream more. Exercise in a way that feels good more and then allow yourself to rest. Eat foods that feel good and that you love more often. Spend time with people who feel good to you more often. Watch things that feel good. Talk to people that feel good. Just sit and feel appreciation more often. Just relax, whatever that means to you.
When I say relax I don’t mean be lazy. I don’t mean don’t do things. I don’t mean sit around waiting. I don’t mean be bored. I mean exactly the opposite. When I say relax I am referring to your emotion. Allow yourself to FEEL easy, allowing, relaxed, open, joyful, appreciative.
It really isn’t that serious, and when you really know this, life is so so so fun.
