Setting Goals is a Must to be Successful

Setting goals or intentions is the first step to success

Let’s start off with why many people don’t set goals. This could be fitness, financial, relationship, personal, fun…

Most people avoid setting goals for 3 reasons:

-You’re worried setting a goal will make you feel stressed out, pressured or restricted.

-You’re afraid what it means about you as a person if you don’t reach your goals.

-Goals require you to focus on where you currently are…to look directly at yourself and your current beliefs, and this focus can feel uncomfortable.

But…it’s setting the goals that bring the limitations we have created or internalized (that aren’t true) to light.

It’s how we can see where we need to adjust how we’ve been thinking about ourselves.

It’s how we identify scarcity thinking, where we have shame, where we feel unworthy, where we have capped our potential, where we have given away our power, where we’re trying to prove or stuck in a victim mentality, it shines a light where we don’t want to look.

Goals are the path to self-discovery, growth, understanding, and letting go of what isn’t true.

They allow us to step into what is true, open up to our potential, feel confident, create self-esteem, love ourselves, own our power, and create like we are meant to do.

It’s easy to give up when we feel like it just isn’t going to happen, but often the time when you feel like giving up is the moment the changes are taking place.

You’re uncomfortable because things are coming up, because you’re between the old and the new.

You can have it, be it, do it…you just have to decide what you want, commit to yourself, invest in yourself, and be willing to move through the temporary discomfort so you can live the way you’ve always wanted to.

You’re only ever mindset shifts away from what you want.
